For a Sorting Specialist in the South of France, Elten delivered two Eltrack Systems with a length of 80 meter per Track.
To optimize space floor and shorten distances for Operators the Eltracks are positioned under the Sorter.
Single empty Trolleys will be fed into the Eltrack with swivel wheels in front by an Operator via Ground Floor Level. When there is space, the first part of the Eltrack will transport the empty Trolley into the System and the infeed position will be free again to position the next empty Trolley.
The first part of the Eltrack can be used for accumulation by changing the angle of the transport pawls.
The second part of the Eltrack will transport the Trolleys to the outfeed. At the outfeed the last empty Trolley is positioned by a Stopper to prevent rolling Trolleys on the walkway at the end of the Eltrack.
When the last Trolley is in position a green light will be shown to the Operator. Now it is safe to take out the last empty Trolley manually via Ground Floor Level by the Operator.
