Elten supplied several manual case palletiser workstations on mezzanine level for our client in Norway.
An empty pallet is lifted. While lifting, the operator can continue to work by forming the first layer on top of the loading plate. When the empty pallet is in place, the loading plate is retracted and the first layer falls on the empty pallet. Now the operator can proceed to load the second layer directly onto the pallet.
After finishing the loading of the pallet, the operator closes the loading plate and continues with the first layer of a new pallet. Meanwhile, the loaded Pallet is lowered, automatically packed, and transported downstream, ready to be shipped to the store.
